  PROJECTS ABOUT EPHEMERA

A ritual re-reading of the Congressional testimony from the 1917 East St. Louis Race Riot commission. Excerpts were selected by our collaborators and read in the contemporary locations to which the historical testimonies refer. In most cases, the spaces referred to in the 1917 tesimony have been all but dismantled by a century of racially motivated erasure and systemic neglect.
